Born in Newark, New Jersey in the early 60’s, Carlos Paradinha, Jr.’s first exposure to photography was watching his father process black and white film in the makeshift darkroom in his family’s apartment bathroom as a young boy.  He started using his own camera at the age of six.

Carlos currently resides in Seattle, WA working with a freelance graphic arts company, Abyssal, Inc.  He’s worked as a photographer as well as a model, part owner, finical officer and administrative director.  Through his work he’s had the distinct privilege to work with the likes of DC Comics, Paizo Publishing, Vivendi Games, as well as Sony Entertainment Online.  His photographs are seen world-wide through these clients.

Detail oriented and muti-facedted, Carlos is a dynamic, charismatic and insightful photographer.   A lover of all things fashion, he brings out the glamour and beauty of whatever is placed before his lens.  Through his studies at the Art Institute of Seattle, where he earned his Bachelors of Fine Arts in Photography in 2013, Carlos applies his passion for haute couture into every facet of his photography.  He delights in molding and shaping light to his desires and bringing a sense of allure, style, grace and power to his subjects.  From portraiture to product, Carlos infuses his particular essence into every image.
